Ghost Detective is also brought to this meeting. Nick Fury explains to them that they are assembling a team to go to space to meet with diplomats on Xandar, as well as track down Thanos, the man responsible for the alien invasion earlier that year. He explains to them that they need to assemble a team of heroes, and that Hiroshi is being given mission lead. Nick Fury wants Ghost Detective involved to help aid Hiroshi in gathering his team.
They then spend much of the day talking to friends and allies, and being given tasks they would need done in order for them to feel comfortable going on the mission.
Notably, Kitty Pryde needs them to break into the pentagon, and Erik wants them to break a daughter he recently found out he had out of jail in Florida.
Rahne Sinclair eagerly agrees to go on the mission no questions asked.
